Quotes and first contact

Is the quote free?

Yes. The site visit, the survey of your roof and the detailed quote are free and without obligation.

What happens during the visit?

A manager comes to your home, inspects the roof, loft, timbers and zinc work, takes measurements and photos, and listens to your project. It generally takes about an hour.

How long does it take to receive the quote?

We send you an itemised quote within a few days of the visit. For complex projects, it may take a little longer while we consult suppliers.

Which areas do you cover?

We work in Brussels, Walloon Brabant, Hainaut and Flanders.

Work and site

What work do you carry out?

Roof renovation, insulation, tiled and slate roofs, flat roofs and waterproofing, repairs and leaks, roof carpentry, zinc work and gutters, roof windows, moss removal, cornices, solar panel cleaning, roof terraces and loft conversions. You will find the details on our services page.

How long does a roof renovation take?

For a single-family home, allow one to three weeks of work on site in general, depending on the area, the complexity of the roof and the weather.

Can I stay at home during the work?

Yes, in the vast majority of cases. The roof is covered every evening and whenever it rains, and most of the work is done from the outside.

Who will be my contact during the project?

A single site manager, from the quote to the handover. They keep you informed and send you photos at every stage.

Do you handle scaffolding and road occupation permits?

Yes. We apply to the municipality for road occupation permits when necessary, and we check with you whether planning permission is required.

Do you work in winter?

Yes, with a protected site. Some tasks, such as painting cornices or certain bonding work, do however require suitable weather.

Emergencies and repairs

Do you provide emergency call-outs for leaks?

Yes. For an active leak or storm damage, call us on 0486 67.98.78: we make the roof watertight as quickly as possible, depending on the weather and safety conditions.

Do you provide a report for my insurer?

Yes, we give you a call-out report with photos and a detailed quote, useful for your insurance claim.

Prices, grants and VAT

How much does a roof renovation cost?

The price depends on the area, the material, the insulation, the complexity and access. Our article on roof renovation cost gives indicative ranges, and our free quote gives you the exact price.

Can I benefit from 6% VAT?

In principle yes, if your private home is more than ten years old and the work is invoiced directly by us. See our article on reduced VAT.

Are there still grants for roofs?

Yes, but they changed a great deal in 2026 and depend on your region and income. See our grants page.

Do you ask for a deposit?

A reasonable deposit is requested on ordering to reserve the materials. The balance is payable on handover.

Guarantees and materials

What guarantees do you offer?

We provide written guarantees on labour and the materials installed, in addition to the manufacturers’ guarantees. Their duration depends on the type of work and is stated on the quote.

Which materials do you use?

Materials from recognised manufacturers, suited to the Belgian climate: tiles, natural and artificial slates, EPDM and bitumen membranes, zinc, conventional or bio-based insulation. The exact references are on the quote.

Do you offer environmentally friendly solutions?

Yes: bio-based insulation such as wood fibre or cellulose, green roofs, waste sorting on site and reuse of materials wherever possible.

Maintenance

How often should my roof be inspected?

Every two to three years for a roof more than twenty-five years old, every year for a flat roof or a house surrounded by trees, and always after a storm. See our roof maintenance guide.

Do you clean gutters?

Yes, on their own or as part of a more complete roof maintenance visit.
